UML’s stance on improvement of the country, says Oli

CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that his party CPN UML’s stance on the contents of the new constitution was for the improvement of the country.

At a press conference organized at party’s headquarters in Balkhu, Oli said that this is a time to promulgate new constitution not a race of new PM. He also clarified that he was in no rush to become the next prime minister of the country.

Refuting claims of insulting Madhesi leaders during a late political meeting, Oli said that he would not apologize as he believed that he was the one scorned.

“They exited the meeting while I was speaking and spoke against me in media. I am the one mocked, not them,” Oli said.

He also invited Madhesi leaders for talks and efforts for timely constitution.
