KATHMANDU — India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday arriving Nepal to attend SAARC foreign ministerial level meeting scheduled for Thursday in Pokhara.
“Leaving for Nepal. EAM @sushmaswaraj departs for the 37th SAARC foreign ministerial-level meeting in Pokhara,” external affairs ministry spokesman Vikas Swarup said in a tweet.
While in Nepal, Swaraj is expected to meet Pakistan’s foreign affairs advisor Sartaj Aziz, who is already in Nepal to attend the meeting, Pakistani media said.

Country marking today as Black Day
KATHMANDU- The country is marking today (December 16) as Black Day to protest the disposition of the first democratically elected government by the late former king Mahendra Shah on December 15, 1960.
Mahendra took charge of the state with the help of the then Royal Nepali Army and formulated the Panchayat System by overthrowing the elected government led by B.P. Koirala and dissolving the parliament.
