KATHMANDU—PM KP Sharma Oli has shown concern in the development of Far Western region.
Today, inaugurating the seventh senate of the Far-Western University Prime Minister Oli said that there would be qualitative change in the education if the Far-Western University produces technical human resources at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar.
To investigate regarding controversies related to its constituent campus and financial transactions respectively, two committees have been formed under the leadership of member of the National Planning Commission, Usha Jha and Secretary of the Finance Ministry, have been formed.
The senate of the university was put off in order to organize it again after carrying out study of Committees’ report.Follow @gorkhapost
NA chair stresses on quality and vocational education
KATHMANDU- Chairman of National Assembly (NA) Ganesh Prasad Timilsina has said that the vocational and quality education were the first priority of the state.
Inaugurating the golden jubilee programme of Pashupati Secondary School of Modi Rural Municipality today, NA chair Timilsina said that technical and quality based education were the foundation of the prosperity of the nation.
On another note, he shared that 339 existing laws will be amended until March 5 and 124 new laws will be enacted.
Similarly, Gandaki Province Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment Minister Bikas Lamsal said that the provincial government was urging federal government to declare Pokhara as tourism capital.
Speaking in the same programme, Pakistani ambassador to Nepal Mazhar Javed said that age old ties between Nepal and Pakistan will be further strengthened and partnership would be fostered in the education sector as well.Follow @gorkhapost
