Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif up for sale on eBay

KATHMANDU —An unknown user has put Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif available for sale on eBay, an American e-commerce portal.

The advertisement has been posted under the subtitle, caption, “Useless Pakistani Pm Nawaz Sharif for Sale.”

The advertisement further says that “Used Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for sale. No longer needed.  Needs a bit of TLC. No box or instructions. Buyer must collect. Seller not prepared to touch item. Pick up from central London today, address will be supplied on completion of sale. Buyer must arrange own transport.”

The identity of the person, who has posted this advertisement, has not been ascertained yet. The Pakistani premier (eBay item no 162037014813) currently stands at a 66,200 pounds bidding price.

So far, 100 bids have been made.

“The whole range of the product and its family is genetically defected and corrupt. Not in working condition. It never worked. It was faulty and corrupt by birth. Mr Shahbaz Sharif will be given for free with it and that item is good with drama and passionate speeches but no use too,” the advertisement further adds.

“Usually found in England, America and Turkey than in Pakistan. All business, properties and family in London but still wants to be a prime minister in Pakistan. ,” it further added.

Nawaz Sharif, who is facing strong criticism post the dramatic Panama Papers’ leak which exposed his family’s offshore dealings, is currently in London for medical checkup.

PM congratulates Nepali national cricket team





KATHMANDU— Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has congratulated Nepali national cricket team for being able to clinch the International T20 series.

PM Oli in a tweet extended best wishes and congratulations saying he was very happy to know Nepal’s win over the UAE by 14 runs in the third match of the series.

Winning T20 series is another landmark success for Nepali cricket, he said, adding, “It is big achievement for Nepal’s cricket. I would like to heartily congratulate entire members of Nepali cricket squad”.
