OnePlus 6 has been launched at a global event in London on Wednesday. OnePlus 6 will be available in three variants with the base model starting at £469.
The launch event took place at Copper Box Arena in London and the company had a livestream of the event via its official YouTube channel.
OnePlus 6 comes with incremental updates over its predecessor with some new design changes. The most striking change is the iPhone X-like notch display and also a Gorilla Glass 5 back panel. OnePlus 6 is also water resistant which is a first for the company.
OnePlus 6 features a 6.28-inch full optic display with aspect ratio of 19:9. Under the hood of the smartphone runs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor.
OnePlus 6 sports a dual-camera setup which is a combination of 20-megapixel and 16-megapixel sensors for better photography. The dual cameras feature optical image stabilisation, electronic image stabilisation, and slow motion video recording at 480fps.

The smartphone is also eligible for Android P public beta. Its connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, and NFC. OnePlus 6 is fueled by a 3,300mAh battery along with support for the company’s Dash Charge.
The smartphone also comes with ‘Face Unlock’ which the company claims can unlock the device in 0.4 seconds. There’s also a cubical rear fingerprint sensor claimed to unlock it within 0.2 seconds.
