KATHMANDU – Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA)is reducing load shedding hours to 77 hours per week from Tuesday, March 29, considering the SLC examinations, which is beginning on March 31.
The NEA has decided to slash the load shedding by one hour a day effective from Tuesday in view of the upcoming LSC examinations, according to NEA sources.
Currently power goes for 84 hours per week and with this new schedule the power-cut will go off for 77 hours a week.
The SLC exams of the year 2016 are scheduled to begin from March 31.
PM congratulates Nepali national cricket team
KATHMANDU— Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has congratulated Nepali national cricket team for being able to clinch the International T20 series.
PM Oli in a tweet extended best wishes and congratulations saying he was very happy to know Nepal’s win over the UAE by 14 runs in the third match of the series.
Winning T20 series is another landmark success for Nepali cricket, he said, adding, “It is big achievement for Nepal’s cricket. I would like to heartily congratulate entire members of Nepali cricket squad”.
