KATHMANDU — Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (FSFN) have signed a two-point agreement on Monday. Following the agreement, Upendra Yadav-led FSFN has decided to join the government.
Both the chairs of Nepal Communist party, KP Sharma Oli and Puspa Kamal Dahal and FSFN Chair Upendra Yadav signed on a two-point agreement during a meeting held in Baluwatar this morning.
Earlier on Sunday, as a sign of the positive development in the ongoing engagements with the ruling party, the FSFN lawmakers had withdrawn their amendment proposal on government’s policies and programmes.Follow @gorkhapost
Country marking today as Black Day
KATHMANDU- The country is marking today (December 16) as Black Day to protest the disposition of the first democratically elected government by the late former king Mahendra Shah on December 15, 1960.
Mahendra took charge of the state with the help of the then Royal Nepali Army and formulated the Panchayat System by overthrowing the elected government led by B.P. Koirala and dissolving the parliament.
