KATHMANDU — CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN (Masal) general secretary Mohan Bikram Singh held discussion on striking common view on the expansion of left alliance as well as other national agendas.
In a meeting held this morning at Dahal residence, Khumaltar, the two leaders discussed the matters related to contemporary political development, left alliance expansion and the party unity between CPN-UML and CPN-MC, shared Dahal’s Press Coordinator Manohari Timilsina.
General Secretary Singh is the political master of Chairperson Dahal and a revered communist leader.
During the meet, leader Singh stressed that the country would have political stability and development only when there is collaboration among the left parties.
Chairperson Dahal said the left alliance came up with good results in the federal and provincial parliamentary elections and the collaboration among CPN-UML, MC and Masal would be kept intact in upcoming National Assembly election.Follow @gorkhapost
Rape cases rising in Tulsipur High Court’s desk
DANG — The High Court Tulsipur in Dang last fiscal year settled 602 cases. As stated by court registrar Shreelal Poudel, in the period, the court registered 413 new cases and the number of cases in pending case (previous years) were 373. Of the total 786 cases, the court gave its final hearings on 602 cases.
The records show that among the cases filed in the period, the highest number is about rape which is figured at 88 and 70 have been already sorted out legally while 18 are under sub-judice.
Similarly, the cases registered seeking divorce were 21 and among them the court finished its proceedings on 19 cases.
