KATHMANDU — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa, who is currently in India for three days personal visit, met Indian Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj today in New Delhi.
During the meeting the India once again told Nepal that obstructions in supplies over the Indo-Nepal border couldn’t be resolved without political resolution of the issue.
Swarj repeated that there was no any obstruction to supplies from the Indian side.
Swaraj also reiterated the need for urgent political solution to the political problems facing Nepal currently, according to MEA India spokesperson Vikas Swarup.

Country marking today as Black Day
KATHMANDU- The country is marking today (December 16) as Black Day to protest the disposition of the first democratically elected government by the late former king Mahendra Shah on December 15, 1960.
Mahendra took charge of the state with the help of the then Royal Nepali Army and formulated the Panchayat System by overthrowing the elected government led by B.P. Koirala and dissolving the parliament.
