TANAHUN — Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has urged the general public to vote for the democratic candidates in the election.

Speaking at the election assembly organised at Bhanu Municipality-12 in Tanahu by the Nepali Congress on Tuesday, Deuba, wo is also the President of Nepali Congress, said: “Only democracy is good for the nation and that’s why I urge the people to vote for the democratic candidates in the election.”

He even asked people to determine the country’s ruling system — dictatorship or democracy saying all it’s on the hand of the people.

Accusing the leftist alliance of intending to impose totalitarianism in the country, he called on the people to stand against such attempt.

Also speaking on the occasion, NC senior leader Ramchandra Poudel urged voters to make the democratic candidates victorious for the nation’s ‘development’ ‘protection’ of democracy.
