KATHMANDU— All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has announced to provide Rs 50,000 each to the members of Nepali women team which was successful in clinching first runner up position at the SAF U-18 Football Championship held in Bhutan.
A meeting of ANFA presided over by its Chairperson Karma Chhering Sherpa on Tuesday took the decision to this effect.
In the final match held on October 7, Bangladesh defeated Nepali team by 1-0 goal margin. Nepal had reached the final by outshining arch-rival India by 3-1 in penalty shootout.

International Women Kabaddi to take place in Morang
BIRATNAGAR- The International Women Kabaddi Championship is taking place in Budhiganga Rural Municipality of Morang.
The championship is to be held under the aegis of Morang District Kabaddi Association on January 11-13.
Association District Chairperson Bhuwaneswor Mandal shared that the championship is to be participated in by the players from four countries, including Nepal, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.Follow @gorkhapost
