2 girls electrocuted, 4 injured in Doti

DOTI — Two school girls have died and four others sustained injuries after accepting electronic shock while clear naked wires lying on the road at Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality-4 of Doti district on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as 10-year-old Roja Aauji and eight-year-old Reshma Aauji, acording District Police Office (DPO), Doti. Both the girls died on the spot.

The incident occurred at around 6 in the morning while they were heading toward school.

The four children injured in the incident are ten-year-old Kalu Aauji, eight-year-old Ishwari Aauji, ten-year-old Santu Aauji and seven-year-old Sita Aauji. All the children were from Durga Lower Secondary School, Pagari. Their condition is normal, said police.

PM congratulates Nepali national cricket team





KATHMANDU— Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has congratulated Nepali national cricket team for being able to clinch the International T20 series.

PM Oli in a tweet extended best wishes and congratulations saying he was very happy to know Nepal’s win over the UAE by 14 runs in the third match of the series.

Winning T20 series is another landmark success for Nepali cricket, he said, adding, “It is big achievement for Nepal’s cricket. I would like to heartily congratulate entire members of Nepali cricket squad”.
